I had to laugh when I read your comment about other spouses snickering about the Army Wife Handbook. How true that is!! hahahaha It may not have practical applications regarding teas and such, but it does have practical applications about traditions. Formals are stressful affairs, but there is some pertinent information to be found regarding receiving lines and what to wear, etc. Change of commands, parades, etc are also addressed along with how to address an envelope...I know it sounds weird but the reality is the military is steeped in tradition. I still pull my book out for that kind of stuff.

Keep up the fabulous work you do!

I've read "Help - I'm a Military Spouse" and LOVED it!! It honestly helped me start to figure out how to have a life of my own.

I also enjoyed the Chicken Soup for the Military Wife's book. For Navy wives, I've read "Emails to the Front" and "Anchored Nowhere" - both were fun reads. :)

I really want to read the Homefront Club book. I think I'm going to order it :)
