Seth told me about him leaving and laughed as he said that if he ever got into trouble in New York, his old LT would come to his rescue. As much as I hate to see such a good officer leave, one who truly cares about his men, I'm so happy for all of you. Maybe life will become more settled for your family now. Seth is contemplating reupping, even though he only has 2 years left. He wants to stay in, but only if he can change his MOS, and reupping is the only way to do that. He tells me that most of his good friends have left for other places, anyway, either gotten out or moved to another post, so he's ready for a change. Hopefully, it will all work out the way he wants it to...and hopefully, life will be good to you and yours.
